Throne day: HM the King receives the best wishes of the Royal Armed Forces

Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI, supreme chief and general chief of staff of the Royal Armed Forces, who was accompanied by HRH crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, received on Friday at the officers mess hall in Rabat General de corps d'armée Bouchaib Arroub, FAR general inspector, Commander of the Southern Zone, who presented to the Sovereign a message of best wishes, faithfulness and loyalty of the officers, non-commissioned officers and servicemen of the Royal Armed Forces on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of HM the King's access to the throne of his glorious ancestors.

 

HM the King was then greeted by the tops of the class of various civil, paramilitary and military institutes and schools.

 

On this occasion, HM the King, supreme chief and general chief of staff of the Royal Armed Forces, hosted a lunch, chaired by HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, in honor of invited personalities. 

 

Upon arrival at the Officers mess hall, HM the King was welcomed by General de corps d'armée Bouchaib Arroub and Delegate Commander of the parade ground of Rabat, Colonel-Major Abdelkader Zaouhir.

 

Then, the Sovereign reviewed a detachment of the headquarters which gave the honors before being greeted by the head of government, Abdelillah Benkirane, delegate-minister in charge of the national defense administration, Abdellatif Loudiyi, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie, General de corps d'armée Hosni Benslimane, Inspector of the royal air forces, General de Division Ahmed Boutaleb, and Inspector of the Royal navy, General de Division Mohamed Laghmari,.

 

In addition to the head of government, other guests included speakers of the two parliament's chambers, advisors of HM the King, government members, high officers of the FAR chief of staff, military attachés accredited in Rabat and other civil and military personalities.
