HRH Crown Prince Moulay eL Hassan chairs in Meknes opening of the 10th International Agriculture Fair

Meknes - HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, on Tuesday in Meknes, the opening of the 10th edition of the International Agriculture Fair (SIAM 2015), held under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI from April 28 to May 3.

 

At the beginning of the ceremony, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan handed origin and quality certificates for nine farmers-producers.

 

HRH the Crown Prince gave the geographic certificate "Amende du Rif" to Al Haddouchi Abdelouahed, president of economic grouping "Louzima", the quality certificate "Dattes Najda" to Belhassan Mohammed Ben Abdellah, president of the National Federation for Date Producers, and the geographic certificates "le Henne Ait Wali" and "Miel Daghmous du Sahara" to president of Oasis du Sahara association M'Barek Nafaoui.

 

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan also handed the geographic certificate "Coings d'oued El Maleh" to president of oued El Maleh agricultural cooperative for quince production El Khayati Reghay, the geographic certificate "Huile d'olive Outat El Haj" to the president of economic grouping "Challenge du Millénaire" and the geographic certificate "Les figues sèches Nabout Taounate" to president of Manabii Bouadal cooperative for agricultural development Taibi Saida.

 

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan also granted the geographic certificate "L'huile d'olive Tafersit" to president of Al Amana cooperative for agriculture and animal production Taea Ali and the geographic certificate "Lentilles Zaer" to president of Moul Lbled Association for agriculture and development Karim Moul Lbled.

 

Afterwards, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan visited the different stands of the Fair, organized by the agriculture and sea fisheries ministry under the theme "Agriculture and food systems".

 

HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was given details on products exhibited in the "regions" pavilion by presidents of regions and agriculture chambers, as well as the pavilions of "Morocco's agriculture village" and "sponsors".

 

Details were also given to his Royal Highness on the pavilions of "machinery", "feed sellers", local products" and "breeding". HRH also visited the pavilions of "nature", "agriculture products" and "agriculture supplies".

 

At the international pavilion, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan was given explanations in the presence of ambassadors of exhibiting countries.
