Rabat - Morocco and France are willing to cooperate in establishing complementary and win-win partnerships in sub-Saharan Africa, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said on Tuesday in Rabat.
"We confirmed the choice of working together in sub-Saharan Africa by leading complementary win-win projects benefiting African countries, Morocco and France," Fabius told the press following talks with Minister for Industry, Trade and Investments Moulay Hafid Elalamy.
"We identified sectors for bilateral and tripartite cooperation with Sub-Saharan Africa," he said, noting Morocco’s success in implementing industrial and economic projects in the region.
Elalamy, for his part, underscored the need to develop bilateral projects in the African continent.
"We agreed on a road map for the upcoming months," said the Moroccan Minister. Fabius is on a working visit to Morocco on March 9-10 at the invitation of his Moroccan peer.
