Casablanca - Morocco’s 10th International Agriculture Fair (SIAM 2015) will be held in Meknes from April 28 to May 3 with the participation of more than a thousand exhibitors from around 55 countries.

The Fair themed :"agriculture and food systems", will be held under the high patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, organsiers said at a press conference on Tuesday in Casablanca.

The event brings together leading farmers, experts, professionals and officials to exchange best practices and ideas on issues relating to developing Morocco’s agriculture, said the organisers.

Some 1200 exhibitors will take part in SIAM 2015 which expects a million visitors.

The fair will stretch over a surface area of 172,000 square meters with 9 different thematic zones dedicated to regions, institutions, sponsors, products, international exhibitors, agri-food, machines, livestock and local products.

Several conferences and roundtables will be included in the event along with livestock farming competitions.
