
Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, on the occasion of his ascension to the throne of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In the message, HM the King expressed to King Salman bin Abdulaziz heartfelt congratulations and best wishes imploring the Almighty to grant him success in leading the brotherly Saudi people towards more progress and prosperity.
The Sovereign said that King Salman bin Abdulaziz is a worthy successor of a great predecessor on the path of achieving further progress and development, safeguarding the sacredness of the two holy mosques and upholding Arab and Islamic solidarity and just causes.
HM the King also expressed great satisfaction with the fraternal ties and mutual esteem characterising relations between the Royal families of Morocco and Saudi Arabia and the relations of solidarity and cooperation between the two countries, reiterating strong resolve to work together with King Salman bin Abdulaziz to further consolidate them at all levels to the best interests of the two brotherly peoples.
On the same occasion, HM the King reaffirmed Morocco’s steady support to the Custodian of the two holy mosques in his lofty initiatives.
