Date : 05 07 2014

Kenitra, 05-07-2014 - HM the King inaugurated a women training center in the Saknia neighborhood and a youth vocational training center in the neighborhood Ouled Oujih. These projects were carried out by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity for a total investment of 13 million dirhams.

The women training center, which reflects the priority given by the Foundation to integrating women in their socio-professional environment, seeks to consolidate the beneficiaries' skills through literacy and professional training, and to promote their living conditions through the creation of income-generating activities.

The new center will also provide pre-school education for the children of women beneficiaries.

The center offers culinary, aesthetics, and traditional sewing workshops. It also includes literacy, computer, tutoring and foreign languages teaching rooms, as well as an orientation space, a nursery and a playground for children. The management of this center is entrusted to a local association.

The  youth vocational training center, which illustrates the constant royal care for the human element, the cornerstone of any development policy, is part of the program developed by the Foundation for young people with the aim to endow them with the tools to promote their socio-professional integration through skills training.

Created as part of a partnership between the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity and the Office of Vocational Training and Job Promotion, the new facility has several workshops (ICT / graphics, computer drawing, media maintenance and computer networks, aluminum joinery, and shelving and stock management), rooms for lectures, a library / media center, and a sports field.
