Rabat - The Commonwealth of Dominica fully supports Morocco's territorial integrity and will do all it can to help the Kingdom achieve this major national goal, said, Friday in Rabat, its prime minister Roosevelt Skerrit.
Dominica, like other Caribbean states, will continue working within the UN to reach a lasting political solution to the Sahara issue, in the light of its conviction and respect for Morocco's territorial integrity, Skerrit told the press after a meeting with foreign minister Saleheddine Mezouar.
The Prime Minister of Dominica also welcomed the reform process initiated by Morocco in the recent years under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, deeming that the Kingdom has become, thanks to these reforms, a model of democracy, change and peace, especially in the Arab region.
"The meeting I had with Mezouar focused in particular on ways to boost bilateral relations," he said, noting that these relations developed significantly over the past few years.
Mezouar said in a similar statement that the relationship between Morocco and the Commonwealth of Dominica is based on a strong partnership as part of the High Royal orientations, aimed primarily to back the development and strengthen mechanisms of partnerships and bilateral trade.
