HM The King Mohammed VI Chairs Awards Ceremony of 2013 Club World Cup

Marrakech - His Majesty King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and HH Prince Moulay Ismail, chaired, Saturday at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech, the awards ceremony of the 2013 Club World Cup won by FC Bayern Munich after beating Raja Casablanca (2-0).

 

On his arrival at the Marrakech Grand Stadium, HM the King was greeted by Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Ouzzine, FIFA President,  Joseph S. Blatter, President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, General, Hosni Benslimane, FIFA Vice-Presidents, Issa Hayatou and Michel Platini, President of the organizing committee of the FIFA Club World Cup, Mohamed Rawrawa, Honorary President of FC Bayen, Franz Beckenbauer, Deputy Chairman of the local organizing committee, Abdelilah Akram, CEO of the second  FIFA Club World Cup (Morocco 2013) Karim Alem, President of Raja Casablanca, Mohammed Boudrika , General Secretary of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Tariq Najm.

 

His Majesty the King, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, HH Prince Moulay Ismail, and FIFA President, was greeted by the teams ' players, and referees, led by Sandro Ricci (Brazil).

 

On this occasion, FIFA President presented to His Majesty the flag of the Federation, and the official ball of the FIFA World Cup 2014 (Brazuca).

 

HM King Mohammed VI, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, and FIFA President handed the fair play trophy, won by FC Bayern Munich, to the team captain.

 

 

After awarding medals to the players of the top three teams, the Sovereign handed the FIFA Club World Cup (Morocco 2013) to the captain of FC Bayern Munich, Philipp Lahm.
