The documents needed for consular registration

Consular registration


Every Moroccan residing abroad has the right to register with the Moroccan consular services whose domicile is within. This registration process is called "consular registration."

Consular registration allows consular services to provide Moroccans residing abroad with the information they may need, direct and provide assistance to them, and contact them or their relatives in case of necessity or there is an urgent situation.

Consular registration is also a compulsory procedure to benefit from other consular services, such as issuing an electronic national identification card, biometric passport, etc.

After completing the consular registration process, the registration card will be delivered to the person concerned. His presence for this purpose is mandatory.

The required documents

For adults:

1. The electronic national identification card (original + copy)

2. Passport (original + copy)

3. As for persons who do not have the electronic national identification card, they must provide a copy of the increased contract in Arabic and French.

4. Residence card (original + copy)

5. The Saudi national address shows the full address of the person’s residence.

6. School certificate for teachers, if any

7. A copy of the marriage contract for married persons

8. A copy of the identity card of the husband or wife

9. Two personal photos on a light blue or gray background;

For minors:

1. A copy of the increased contract written in Arabic and French, or a copy of the father's family book.

2. Passport (original + copy)

3. Residence card (original + copy)

4. The Saudi national address shows the full address of the person’s residence.

5. A copy of the parents' national card and passport

6. School certificate for teachers, if any

7. A copy of the parents' marriage contract

8. Two personal photos on a light blue or gray background;

Notes

1. A minor under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a legal representative.

2. Attendance is compulsory for the person concerned;

3. A document proving the place of residence: If the concerned person is not registered with the national address, proof of residency must be provided at the authorized address (work letter from the operator, lease contract, water, and electricity bill, or fixed phone bill stating the identity of the concerned person and his residential address.
